Why Is EVERYONE Buying This Tripod? Manfrotto 055 502AH Review

When it comes to popular tripods for videographers and cinematographers alike, there are a number of options out there to choose from.  But whether the name is familiar to you or not, there's a good chance that once you see the Manfrotto MVK502055XPRO3, you'll recognize it as a familiar model that you either own yourself, know someone who does, or are thinking about purchasing one.  But what makes this tripod so popular as a mid-range fluid video head model, and does it truly live up to the hype? In this review, I'll go over all of the specifications and features of this tripod, breaking down the many details of the MT055XPRO3 tripod legs, and the MVH502AH tripod head.  Yet beyond this, I'll also discuss the good with this tripod - covering areas from its sturdiness, to flexibility, and how items like the legs and fluid head perform in real world shooting situations.  These tests were performed using a kitted out version of my Sony a7S III, which bears a similar resemblance to the setup used with my Sony a7R V rig build video, which I'll link to below. However, I'll also discuss the not so good aspects of this tripod, including several gotchas many folks often miss, and other common quirks with Manfrotto tripods in general.  Last, I'll cover the price point of the tripod, and offer my final thought on the unit. Overall, this tripod has arguably become the mid-tier gold standard tripod for video shooters over time, likely for good reason.  It's rare to find a set of legs and video head that offer as much customization and flexibility as the 055 and 502AH, respectively, and with other elements like the 504PLONG plate and the overall design, it's clear why this Manfrotto tripod has become the go-to option for most filmmakers. If you like tripod reviews like this, feel free to check out the many videos like this one on my channel already, and leave a like and subscribe as there will be more on the way!  Also, let me know if you have any questions in the comments below. In this review, I'll offer my take on the FeelWorld F5 ProX 5.5 inch camera monitor, covering all of the monitor's specifications and features.  This includes going over the many assistive features that the monitor contains for videographers - everything from waveforms, to vector scopes, histograms, zebras, focus peaking, false color, and the list goes on. I'll also offer my feedback on the monitor in real-world usage and shooting situations, and describe how aspects like its brightness, touchscreen responsiveness, etc. compare to other models.  Last, I'll discuss the price of the F5 ProX, and provide my final thoughts on the unit.
